Kathy was one of the original charter members of Nu Chapter and served continuously in multiple leadership roles with Nu Chapter since 1986, remaining active as Treasurer even while battling cancer for the last year - to the point of fulfilling duties as Treasurer while hospitalized. She served on the Joe Kandor Award of Excellence Scholarship and worked tirelessly to earn permanent endowed status for that award. This May 14th at our annual initiation and awards ceremony, we surprised Kathy with a lifetime honor. We created the Kathleen Krebs Outstanding Service to Nu Chapter award to recognize students and alumni who demonstrate committed service to Nu Chapter. We miss Kathy's zeal and spirit in the Brockport community and wanted Chi Sigma Iota International to know about the passing of an inspiring servant leader.
