Stanley Hudson, age 55, was a retired salesperson from Dunder Mifflin. Stanley, an African American male, had a socially conservative outlook and had difficulty with employment changes and career progression. He identified in the past as being interested in the Black Panther Party and Black culture; however, he did not embrace racially-based topics. Stanley identified one person who served as a close colleague and friend in the work setting named Phyllis Vance.
