The following topics were listed and here’s what you voted for future Spring 2014 trainings or talks. Motivational interviewing seemed to be an area of high interest, with Mindfulness Training shortly behind.

There was also the option to write in areas of interest to be considered for future trainings. Here were some of the great suggestions:

1. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for use in elementary schools.

2. Finding internships locally and regionally (especially outside of Flagstaff)

3. Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprograming (EMDR)

4. Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT)

This was not an exhaustive list of possibilities. If you have any ideas or suggestions for future trainings, please don’t hesitate to contact the Beta Alpha committee!
