A joint webinar presented by members of the CSI Chapter Development Committee and the CSI Online and Hybrid Programs Task Force will discuss common questions and concerns shared by counselor education programs and CSI chapters that use a primarily online or hybrid model. The presenters will provide an overview of current CSI policies and recommendations while identifying strategies that have successfully engaged students enrolled in online and hybrid programs.

A joint webinar presented by members of the CSI Chapter Development Committee and the CSI Online and Hybrid Programs Task Force will discuss common questions and concerns shared by counselor education programs and CSI chapters that use a primarily online or hybrid model. The presenters will provide an overview of current CSI policies and recommendations while identifying strategies that have successfully engaged students in online and hybrid programs. Counselor educators and counseling students who are currently enrolled in online or hybrid programs, as well as those who may be enrolled in or hired by these programs in the future, are encouraged to participate.


As a result of attending this webinar, participants will:

  • Understand the unique challenges faced by online and hybrid programs when engaging students, advising, and hosting initiation events for a CSI chapter.
  • Reflect on the importance of CSI International policies and standards in supporting the mission of CSI.
  • Identify strategies currently being successfully utilized by leaders in online and hybrid counselor education programs.
  • Develop an appreciation for CSI foundational standards when operating a chapter in an online or hybrid program.

CSI Webinars are free to active members and $39 for guests.
