2014 Adopt A Family

Posted By Michelle T. Jones, Thursday, November 13, 2014

We are pleased and excited to announce it is that time of year, again! Psi Omega Pi is sponsoring a family through Save the Family Foundation of Arizona. Please help POP provide a wonderful holiday experience to a deserving family.

This year we will be sponsoring a family of four, a single mother with two toddlers and 3-month old baby. Please see the attached wish list for our family. Once you have decided upon an item that you are able to donate, please contact Paula at or text at 480.233.8077, so that she can mark it off the list to avoid duplication. If you prefer, you can donate cash (a receipt will be given for any charitable donation). The money collected will be used to purchase the holiday meal gift card and/or other items on the list.

Paula will collect purchased items and cash donations. For your convenience, you can also leave items or envelopes with donation money, in the Counseling Skills Center (CSC), Room 423, or you can bring your donation(s) to the POP Holiday Party (date and place to be determined). If you are going to drop off items at the CSC, please inform Dr. Rowley ( and Paula prior to drop off, so we can make sure someone is there to put the items in storage for us.

All donations must be received by December 15, so that the members can shop with any donated money to fulfill missing items, and wrap the gifts in time to deliver to the family on December 19.

After any items are purchased, please send Paula an approximate value of the item(s) for Save the Family Foundation's records.
