CACREP Advocacy Week

Posted By Michelle T. Jones, Sunday, February 23, 2014

Throughout the week of 2/24 - 2/28, we will be sharing information with you regarding CACREP's Advocacy week!

CACREP Advocacy Week is a specific week set aside for counseling faculty members and students to make their voices heard through engaging in advocacy efforts on behalf of their counseling programs and profession. CACREP advocates on behalf of its programs on a daily basis, yet, the voices that can truly make a difference in advocacy efforts come from you: counselors, counselor educators, and students. Below is a description of CACREP Advocacy Week activities. CACREP is asking faculty members, students, and graduates to demonstrate that YOUR VOICE MATTERS when it comes to licensure portability, protecting professional identity, and other current issues by participating in one or more of these activities.

Stay tuned for further information and chances to get involved with your counseling community!
