Excellence in Counseling Research Grants
The mission of Chi Sigma Iota is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership, and excellence in counseling; to encourage the pursuit of personal excellence by members; and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling. To fulfill that mission, the first two fundamental goals of the CSI Strategic Plan are (1) Promoting and recognizing academic and professional excellence in counseling scholarship, leadership, advocacy, and practice, and (2) Supporting and enhancing a strong counseling profession that fosters wellness and human dignity in an increasingly global society. These purposes are the foundation for the CSI Excellence in Counseling Research Grant program. This Program is intended to support and enhance the counseling profession through targeted support of research by CSI members. Read more
Chi Sigma Iota Chapter Grants are intended to support activities in chapters that promote and recognize excellence in the areas of leadership, professional identity, advocacy, and scholarship. Projects that enhance chapter and member services are highly desirable. Priority will be given to chapters working on reactivation and expansion of services to professional members, and those that help members to enhance their professional identity and their sense of commitment to the counseling profession and personal excellence. Grants provide a stipend of $50-$250 as seed money for chapter projects. Read more.
