CSI Fall Webinars - Bringing the Training to You!

CSI is pleased to announce nine professional development webinars, with the first three open for registrations at csi-net.org > webinars. Our fall webinars include a three-part supervision series and webinars on professional advocacy, leadership, loss and grief, counseling with low-income families, counselor community engagement, and strategies for involving alumni in CSI chapter activities.

As always, CEUs are free to CSI members who attend these one-hour webinars, while non-members may attend for a fee. Former members may renew for one year and attend all webinars at no charge. Registration is easy with our new website features.

All webinars are recorded and placed on line for members to view at their convenience. You may obtain CEUs after the viewing by responding to a brief quiz.

Counselor’s Bookshelf: One of CSI’s Most Unique Resources Has a Lot to Offer!

Have you read a good book or seen a good movie or television show lately? Has this book or movie helped you become a better counselor? Write a brief summary of it and you could get published on the CSI website! This book or movie could be about an area of counselor training or practice, a particular life situation, developmental issue, or client issue. Submissions are reviewed by an Editor and Editorial Board Reviewers and will be approved prior to posting. For more information, click here.

The Bookshelf is a centralized collection of reviews of books, movies/films, television shows, and music that may be used by professional counselors, supervisors, and counselor educators in practice and education. In addition to the reviews, a section is devoted to helping individuals locate a resource to help with a particular client situation or counselor education class.
