Neurofeedback Series:
Incorporating Neurofeedback Into Your Practice

Robert E. Longo, MRC, LPC, NCC, BCN Associate Fellow

Thursday, October 12, 2017
2:00-3:00 PM EDT

Rob Longo

Counselors, therapists, and health care professionals are challenged with common conditions reported by many patients. These conditions include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, insomnia, ADD, ADHD, and headaches. Practitioners are challenged because 1) these conditions are difficult to manage, 2) often require changes in medications and medication dosages, 3) patients do not want to take medications long term, 4) patients do not like the side effects of medications, and 5) many patients do not want to take medications at all.

Many counselors have not heard about Neurofeedback, an intervention that is generally safe, easy to administer and can treat the above referenced conditions, among many others, without medications or serious side effects. CSI's Neurofeedback Series will provide counselors, therapists, and health care professionals with a comprehensive overview of qEEG Brain Mapping, Neurofeedback, assessment procedures, and uses of these safe and effective interventions.

The second webinar in CSI's Neurofeedback Series will help the mental health practitioner to determine if it is beneficial to add qEEG Brain Mapping and Neurofeedback Brain Training into an existing practice by learning the skills, hiring a trained practitioner into an existing practice, or referring patients to an established qEEG and Neurofeedback practitioner. The workshop will cover BCIA Certification, purchasing equipment, training, and associated costs. Additionally, this webinar will address the practicalities of adding qEEG and Neurofeedback training into an existing practice.
