Of all the issues facing professional counselors in contemporary society, addressing the mental health needs of the growing number of clients from culturally diverse backgrounds is one of the most challenging. Counseling practice has been greatly impacted by changing demographics and social dynamics that characterize the 21st century. This workshop will provide participants with a cross-cultural counseling competency conceptual framework.
