Plan of Action, 2010-2011
Thank you for your willingness to serve as a CSI Web Editor. In order to help you and to celebrate all that you do, we (the CSI Executive Council) ask that you fill out this Plan of Action form to let us know your projections for the year ahead. If you have questions, please contact Jane Myers, CSI Web Administrator. 1. Please review the CSI Strategic Plan. Consider how the content on your part of csi-net.org can promote the goals and objectives of the Plan.
2. Consider those priorities as you determine your Web Editor goals for this year. Then complete your Plan using the outline provided below.
3. Both short and long range goals may be included in your Plan. If you have objectives that will take multiple years to complete, please note these on the plan.
4. If there are any areas for which you would like input from CSI Staff or the Executive Council, please note these as well.
5. Please include a list of persons involved in any way in developing your part of our website, along with an indication of their roles.
6. How will you increase CSI member participation in our interactive forums this year?
7. Please note that web site enhancements are often limited by the capabilities of our servers and staff. This year CSI plans to hire a part-time Web Administrator charged, in part, with helping us maximize our capabilities. Feel free to ask for services you think would be useful to CSI members.
8. CSIs annual operating budget includes significant expenditures for our web resources to support our 24/7 “silent employee.” Therefore, we place a priority on activities which can direct members to our web site to benefit from the many services there.
