Chi Sigma Iota Chapter Development Grants

This year Chi Sigma Iota is sponsoring Chapter Development Grants. The grants are intended to support activities in chapters that promote and recognize excellence in the areas of leadership, professional identity, advocacy, and scholarship. The grants provide 50-100 dollars as seed money for chapter projects. There are two categories of grants: 1) those for recently reactivated chapters and 2) those chapters that seek to grow beyond currrent activity levels by outreach to professional or inactive members of the chapter . This may include workshops and professional development activities. Chapters are also challenged to identify projects or activities that especially help CSI members to enhance their professional identity and their own sense of commitment to the counseling profession and personal excellence.

Chapters awarded grants in the last three years are not eligible, please. Chapters wishing to apply for the funds should print the Chapter Development Grants Application Form and submit it per the instructions to assure it is postmarked by October 30, 2009.
